Built for the chart, not around it
- Click entry and stop-loss prices to draw a complete risk/reward plan directly on the chart.
- See calculated quantity, risk, reward, target, ticks or pips and risk-reward information as the plan updates.
- Live trade values update displayed quantity, stop-loss risk, Take Profit value and live P/L after partial profits or same-direction add-on trades.
- Manual stop-loss moves are respected during later partial exits, so the plan keeps the trader’s chosen stop price.
- Use the configurable dashed Profit Guide Line in the reward area, with Show Profit Guide Line, Guide Line Percent and Guide Line Opacity settings.
- Fit Text plan width is more compact and avoids unnecessary empty horizontal space.
- Keep existing unsubmitted plans aligned with the account selected in Chart Trader when NinjaTrader allows it.
- Choose PercentOfAccount, FixedDollar or FixedQuantity risk modes from the dedicated settings window.
- Save defaults for account, risk, target, visual and order-submission settings, then update existing unsubmitted plans with one Save.
- Use Bars projection for timeframe-aware plan width or Minutes projection for fixed-time planning.
- Resize the plan with edge handles, move the shaded area and lock the plan position when needed.
- Show additional visual take-profit levels for planning context.
- Keep the Free edition in DrawOnly mode for planning before moving to PRO execution controls.
Execution features
PRO order controls keep the planning surface connected to trade management while adding Chart Trader close controls for 50%, custom percentage and full-position exits.
- Set Submission mode to SubmitOrders to place orders immediately after drawing.
- Choose whether to submit entry, stop-loss and take-profit orders from the plan.
- Use AutoLimitOrStop, Limit, StopMarket or Market entry order modes.
- Place orders later from DrawOnly mode with the right-click Place RSX Trade Risk Orders command.
- Move the stop loss to break even after entry fills when the trade context allows it.
- Use the default Alt+E hotkey for the selected or hovered plan, or change it in PRO settings.
- Use Chart Trader close controls to close 50%, close a custom percentage, or close the full open position.
- Close controls are capped to the current open position size.
- Resize working stop-loss and take-profit orders after manual partial exits in normal single SL/TP states.
- Recalculate protective quantities after same-direction add-ons, partial fills and live position changes.
- Edit colors, text opacity, risk-reward lock and draw-mode behavior.

Installation and setup
Download the NinjaTrader 8 package from your RSX account, import the ZIP directly through NinjaTrader and open RSX Trade Risk Planner Settings 2.6 before drawing your first plan.
Compatibility
